Corcovado Sirena

The outer ranger station in Corcovado national park

Corcovado Sirena National Park

If you want to experience the real jungle and you are willing to make some effort in travel time to get there and back; we recommend the Sirena ranger station in the Corcovado national park. The Corcovado National Park Full Day Sirena Tour departs from Sierpe at 8:00 AM and arrives approximately 2 ½ hours later at Sirena Ranger Station in the Corcovado National Park, so an hour more to travel by boat.

Upon arrival you will prepare for two guided nature tour hikes along two different trails and observe beautiful flora and fauna. Each hike takes around 2 hours with a picnic lunch break in between. During the hikes you will be able to see many mammals such as spider, howler, and white-faced monkeys, sloths, coatis, raccoons, and tapirs as well as a great variety of birds, plants, and trees with over one hundred years of existence and in danger of extinction. Here at Sirena you might even see wild cats!!!!

During the boat transit from Sierpe to Sirena Corcovado along the Sierpe River and Mangrove you may observe monkeys, crocodiles and birds. Then you will hit the break to reach the Pacific Ocean and you might be accompanied by whales (in season from July till November), dolphins, turtles, marine birds and fantastic views of the southern pacific Osa coastline.

Natural Mystic Travel can also provide transportation from your hotel to and from Sierpe; contact us for details and pricing.
